Jades charecter has been looked into more, in episodes like Jade dumps Beck and with smaller hints of her past. That doesn't mean Trina has no depth. This is season two of Victorious. All the characters still have a huge chance to grow. The show is more comedy than drama, so it does take longer. Either way I find her a funny charecter and I don't have any reason to dislike her. Victorious Wiki Explore. Who Did It to Trina? They really are. Most of them have been on Broadway and have done shows there that had good feedback such as 13 the Musical for Liz Gillies and Ariana Grande.
Near the end of the show, they don't do much dancing as they did before but when they do I love it. I love when either of them perform. From a large crowd to just simply each other. Trina, I've seen at times, makes a mention about some stuff that sounds true: a performer has to feel the part to be the part, no one cares who wrote the song I really believe this is true about many people , talent has nothing to do with being famous this definitely applies to quite a few famous people today especially people on reality shows that are now famous surprisingly.
Trina isn't talented at all but when I look at it, she's really like many of us. For those of us who would love to learn to be a good performer, I think if we really looked at this, we wish we could be Trina.
Yes, even those that know they're not talented. Or maybe they don't know that yet. Which leads me to Tori. This is what I love about her. She starts off as normal as us but she learns something about herself she didn't before.
She didn't know she was THAT good on stage that she can wow an audience until the first episode. And I love that she becomes confident enough that she feels she can do anything. Throughout the first season, she becomes a little more well known by other names such as Louise Nordoff and Crystal Waters, and then in later episodes she gets to be more well known as just herself.
Just Tori Vega. A few times an episode doesn't end happily and I love and hate that. Hate it because of the examples I just stated and love it because it shows that there isn't always a happy ending. Tori herself isn't bad. In fact I have been able to see her involved with her family in some episodes. And her parents are apart of hers and Trina's lives. I especially like when Tori got excited in one episode for some family pot pie. It's such a small moment but it tells me she does love her family.
She isn't bratty and just because we usually do see just the kids and not the parents doesn't mean anything. I also love that her parents are together. Usually in shows like this, one parent is dead or missing. And maybe even another one is gone like Carly's dad from iCarly. Before the show ended we are shown that Tori's mom is texting a cop who works with Tori's dad.
The show ended but I like to think that Tori's parents are still together being one of those parents out there that beat the odds. As for Tori herself, she's nice. She's not too nice like Carly Shay, she doesn't let anyone walk all over her.
Now for Jade, seriously people. I love iCarly, and I love the characters, and I already wrote a long review about the show and the characters and defending the characters, and I'll do no different here with Victorious and Jade.
With Jade, you can see worse. And for someone as dumb as Cat ended up being, it's a surprise she was friends with Cat. Robbie especially, you would think a guy like him would feel very weak compared to Jade that he'd be too depressed to even go to Hollywood Arts even, but not even Robbie lets a girl like Jade keep him down. And definitely not Tori. Tori was set up by Jade in the third episode but even when she found out she still did something nice for Jade and she does it again in Tori Goes Platinum when she thinks about Jade instead of kissing Beck.
And this makes Jade respect her more. I don't know if other people would be like this in real life but in the case for Tori and Jade, I love that Tori being considerate of Jade despite Jade picking on her, results in somewhat of a friendship between them. Jade hates her less because of that, compared to when they first met especially.
Isn't that great when you think about this? Taking the high road, and not letting someone get you down are some of the positive messages I've seen for Victorious. There isn't much to say about Beck sadly but I do like that he's a good guy.
Even if he's popular, he's still good and he even manages to tolerate Jade most of the time. And Sinjin I think is jealous of Beck because he loves Jade too but in the last episode aired, they become friends. The weird, creepy outcast becomes friends with the popular guy at school. I wish we could've seen more but I'm happy we even got that. In the beginning I could already picture them as a couple because I thought of them as having a singer-producer relationship.
I like how he can be so determined to get his music out there. One way which isn't approved by Tori really even though eventually they go along with it in one episode but atleast it's acknowledged that using someone to get to their dad isn't good. Now to finally, Cat. I understand why some people wouldn't be able to stand the show much because of her. Especially if anyone new to it sees a season 3 episode and onward.
You should know before then, Cat didn't always sound dumb. And she didn't always make her voice go high. In the earlier seasons, her voice is normal and some times she even had a smart idea. She has a brother who's mentally ill, who I assume is the reason she becomes more an airhead later on. A few times I manage to like her as she is now.
Especially when something happens to her in an episode where Tori sings the national anthem. For this show, I'm glad Victoria and Leon got to sing a song they wrote themselves.
The other songs are good too. Yes there is another positive message about following your dreams but there is also another message too from one episode: an artist must not be afraid to make choices on what to do with their performances. And I love Sikowitz and his classes. We don't see much but when we do, I love it. Like drive by acting exercises, alphabetical improvs, one time he even got the main characters to learn to stay in character through whatever as a contest.
And there are atleast two other contests he does like learning to be less dependent on texting and social media for a week and learning to say yes more.
And there is another episode that's relevant to today: people caring too much about how many friends and followers they have on Facebook and Twitter. In this episode, they learn to value the real friends they have and not the anonymous online friends they have on TheSlap.
It's not often you learn anything from Dan's shows because he doesn't go off making his shows preachy and he doesn't take the role of being someone else's parent. He's more like the uncle. Or the granddad. His shows are there to give you a breath of fresh air and to relax.
But it was nice that he even sends out a message through his shows. Overall, the show is fun, the characters and the school and everything really, it's all colorful. And a good thing to watch at the end of the day. Helped me decide 2. Had useful details 2. Read my mind 4. Adult Written by Aplus July 30, Parents Beware I've watched a few of these shows with my nine and eight years old girls. This show stresses placing importance on looks and popularity. In one episode the lead character was jealous of her best-friends boyfriend and tried to "steal him" from her.
Hardly appropriate material for an eight-year old. In another episode they did a parody of the move "The Breakfast Club" and had the students mimic being high. Although younger kids would most likely be oblivious of this innuendo, I found it highly inappropriate for a kids show.
As a parent and a teacher these are the exact images I am constantly trying to discredit. I rated this as acceptable for kids over 13, and that was generous. Parent of a 10 and year-old Written by MommaMichelle September 29, Absolutely NOT! This show is awful! Way too much making out. And alot of words my kids shouldn't use to one another. Banned from my house. Helped me decide. Adult Written by jadewestcat April 14, Should parents lets little kids watch Victorious This show is so funny it's about teens they use not very friendly communication sometimes kids can get confused and act up ages I recommend it for 12 and older or it depends on how mature the kids are its really the parents decision.
Ariana's "Thank U, Next" music video was iconic for so many reasons , one of them being that it doubled as a Victorious reunion. Who was noticeably missing from the video?
Victoria Justice of course! And obviously fans took note. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight , Victoria Justice admitted that she didn't think she would work with Ariana again. While, of course, the feud most likely started on the set of Victorious , it went public thanks to Seventeen you're welcome , when Ari was our June cover star.
In her interview, she discussed some drama with a former co-star. So I started changing myself to please her. It made me stop being social and friendly. I was so unhappy. So, once the article came out—actually before it came out—she texted me privately and was like, 'Oh my gosh. I am so sorry, you know how the media twists words.
I was not talking about you, obviously. I was talking about someone on Broadway that I had worked with. Later, Ari actually made a statement to Seventeen about the quote.
Please don't send hate to anyone, it's undeserved and I would never want that.
