Should i kill lord telmon

Use the "map" command a lot to see whether you have accidentally headed off in the wrong direction. The round black circles on the maps are touch-sensitive! Press them to see the names of the locations. If the arrow on the map says you are exactly at a place, and yet you cannot see that place, then probably you are way above it or below it. In a few situations, it can be very important to wait. When you are in a cave or dungeon or castle , the map does not change to show the trails in the cave.

But the map-arrow still shows which way you are going, and its position can give you a relative idea of where in the cave you are. In order to perform the main line quest, you will have to do a lot of fighting and leveling up. Side-quests help! Some give you a lot of experience. There are Runes in this game. If an item has reached its maximum in rune effects, then applying a rune also removes the effect of a previous rune. It is very useful. Never forget that the safety ring is the quickest way back to Callaheim.

How did that happen? You respond, and where are you? Well, your attacker was not close enough to bring up your sword and shield battle icons. You tried to swing your sword, but you only pressed the handle for the cave entrance. You can join all three guilds and do all their quests.

After you offer to join and get assigned to a quest, check their guildbox and hope for booty. I think you need to keep only one guild key. The Knights guild gives you one biggie: easy entry into the Mansion, worth lots of Exp and Booty. The Guardians guild gives you one quest that I think is unbalanced within the game: 50, exp for killing the King Minotaur. This is a tough quest, but it can be accomplished when you are around level 23 in Normal game play, not Casual , and you might get THREE levels up for that 50, You may feel that joining more than one guild is not proper role-play.

If so, consider being a Paladin, for whom all three guilds are highly appropriate. Caves, and the mansion, and the ancient vampire, regenerate, creating excellent opportunities to grind up.

Mounts horses, wolves, drakes are handy for riding fast through familiar places. Mounts make it possible to run past foes and not fight them.

The drake mount is good at falling from great heights without injury. I prefer to build up my defense as fast as I can, but of course there are other ways to play the game. I use my gold to buy defense whenever I find an item that is much better than what I already have.

I think that this is the way to use gold:. Rush around there and try to prevent that ruffian from killing a citizen. If you fail, well, you can loot the citizen. You may find more ruffians nearby, or they may find you, so it pays to save before attacking the first ruffian. Ruffians level up after a while, so they are good sport. I think the game does not tell you, but you can get a pretty good idea by watching how kills and quest exp affect your green line.

Please explore my fantasy novels, my website, and my occasionally amusing blog:. And I have another novel on the way.

As you find them, please report them to me. The first steps of the main story are obvious. Darius will tell you to speak with Gorak in the palace. Enter the royal palace in East Callaheim. In the first room, go through the right side door and keep turning right, up, up and up, to the top level where you will find Gorak.

He will give you spirit dust, with which to talk to the dead queen. Keep it! But if you accidentally sell it, go back to Gorak and talk carefully to him, and he will give you more. You may have to do side quests for a while, to get strong enough to handle this quest. In the old sewers, find the crypt. Save your game often inside the crypt, there are nasty traps that kill you at once unless you pass them at exactly the right moment. Return and speak with Gorak. Now go back to Darius in West Callaheim, whether Gorak tells you to do that or not.

He will send you to the library to find something useful to use against Mereficus. Peruse the library with care, and read everything. One book will give you the craft to make quality potions.

You can put the books back after reading them, if you want to be very, very lawful. Back to Darius. Darius will advise you to speak to Vierne in Karn.

Exit Callaheim into the North Kingdom. Go all the way north, to Cold Sands Hold and Keep. This is a friendly stopover place with terrific traders. The Knights guild gives you an introduction to Fargus. I do not know whether he will talk to you otherwise.

When I was a lawful rogue, I sometimes had to level up a few times to get quests from Fargus. Exit the North gate into the "Outlands". There are two maps called Outlands. You are now in the tamer outlands west of the Eastern Sea. Go a short way north, near the sea, to the place that is marked on the map by multiple black dots.

This is the town of Karn. There is a drake carcass on the beach search it! You will need at least three. Once you've found a Yuma plant, you will easily recognize them. Yuma plants regenerate their seeds. There are at least three Yuma plants, but you can easily get two before you visit Sunclaw, and more from the same plants before you return to Vierne.

Go to the drake's carcass on the beach if you haven't already and collect the broken dragon's tooth. Go west to Sunclaw's lair on the same outlands map. Talk to Sunclaw about his broken tooth and promise to bring him the balm. Return to Vierne. I recommend bringing one superb healing potion with you. Or, you can buy it next door to Vierne. Vierne will teach you how to make the balm, and you can make it in her hut with the 3 yuma seeds and the superb healing potion.

Now, back to Sunclaw. Heal him with the balm. Select Temple of Azra. He will offer to take you to Drake Island, which is off the continent, across the eastern sea. Step outside his lair, and you're off! Incidentally, if you want, you can swim to Drake Island yourself. Swim a long way, northeast from Karn, and aim for the spot where the distant background changes color.

When Sunclaw drops you on the island, find the drake nest with the red drake egg. When you see the nest, you'll know what it is. Take the egg.

Also, find the chest and take the Temple seal. Link the egg so you can use it; it calls drake mounts for you. But do not call a mount now; hunt around the island to find Sunclaw, waiting to take you back.

He will drop you off at the Temple of Azra, which might be just what you want. If Sunclaw seems not to be there, swim to Karn and walk to Azra yourself. You will cross two wooden bridges to reach the temple entrance. Consider doing some sidequests to level up before you face Azra. No need to hurry to get there!

There are many skeletons to fight in the temple, sometimes three at once. They are worth about xp each. For maps of the temple of Azra, see: Maps of the Temple of Azra. The temple is an enormous place with looong halls. You will spend a lot of time there. Do yourself a favor, and be picky about what loot you add to your inventory. By the way, if you reach a certain high level, e. I believe this is a general aspect of the game: you get no exp for killing total pushovers.

She is a friendly target so she won't hurt your legal status and her level is low so she is fairly easy to defeat. By defeating her, you will probably level up one level, if not more. Regardless of whether you defeat Lyrah, you may raid the loot in her chest. Exit her house and speak with Aven and Hans Longstride. Each of them will give you a quest - Find Feskers 50 exp. You may then choose to engage in some target practice with the practice dummy. Inside, you can accept a quest from Thressa A Missing Husband - exp.

Black is in the first inn room on the second floor. After I accept the quest, I kill Black, who is a friendly target. I also go next door to the second inn room and collect the loot from the chest in the room.

Next, leave Timbers Bend, go along the path outside of the village to the gnoll cave on the right and pick sunberries off of the bush immediately outside of the village. Feskers is outside of the cave and inside, there are two chests plus the solution to A Missing Husband. If you continue past the gnoll cave, you will come around to a campfire in front of you and a sunberry bush on the left facing the Old Mill.

Picking Plants - when you pick plants throughout this game you will either get one or two plants. I have noticed that almost always, if you stand very close to the plant but not in it, you will receive two plants. This is true for sunberries, willow leaves, yuma seeds, fero pods and red ferns. The only exception is skyblooms - you must get as close as possible to these plants and hope you get two plants. There doesn't seem to be any consistency, however.

Follow the path out of Timbers Bend to the Old Mill. Enter the mill and complete the Tom Miller quest. Do not kill Miller or take the loot from his chest or you will become an outlaw. Once you leave the mill, you may cross the bridge or go fishing in the river. You will have received an old fishing pole from the chest in your house. At this point, however, you will not have any recipes to use so you cannot use it for yourself.

However, you can sell the fish for gold in Taryn Ridge. Go over the bridge and through the gate past the old mill. To the left, there is a gnoll lair. There are three chests in this cave and several gnolls that will help you level up.

After going through the gnoll lair, continue on the path a little further. You will see a bandit on the left and a sunberry bush behind him. Past the bush, there is an obelisk and a tall bust. Between the bust and obelisk, there is a side path that leads to a chest. Once you come out from the side path, look to the river in the valley below your location. Go down to the river and cross to the other side. There is a hill and at the top of it, there is a sunberry bush and a chest.

Once you return to the path to Taryn Ridge, pass the bust and go down the next path on the left. There will be another sunberry bush on your left just a little way down this road and across from the jetty to the small house. Turn down the jetty and go behind the fence in front of the small house.

There is one more sunberry bush here. Enter the small house and speak with Elyssa, where you can take the quest Safe Journey to Taryn Ridge exp. Note that you only have three minutes to complete this quest so you will want to collect the loot from her house, located in the cabinet, before you accept this challenge.

Exit the house with Elyssa and return to the main path. Go left on the path and cross two bridges towards Taryn Ridge and continue uphill into the village.

This quest can only be completed at night after p. Enter the Red Lion Inn and speak to Sufok, completing that quest. At this time, Sufok will give you the Find Darius 1, exp. You can also speak to Ian and accept the A Stolen Jewel 50 gold, exp.

You may also accept Wilholme's quest An Ambush for Ian gold, exp. Go downstairs and complete the stolen jewel quest and return to Wilholme's room to complete the ambush quest. When you exit the inn, you may collect loot from the chest in the farthest house to your right. If you try to take loot from any other house, you will become an outlaw. You can also complete the Delivery quest with Raquel and receive the Assistance 60 gold, exp. Guard Rakthor, posted at the wooden bridge closest to Taryn Ridge can also give you the Chief Kargath gold, exp plus a piece of armor or weapon quest.

The willow leaves you will need to collect for the Assistance quest are around the bottom and right side of the lake there are four bushes as well as on the island in the lake.

Go to Kyle Stronghand's Lair and kill him. There are two chests in Stronghand's lair plus the loot you will receive from Stronghand himself and his followers. Collect the willow leaves from around Craythorn Lake four plants including one on the island in the lake.

Enter Ug's Lair and accept the Kill Og gold, exp. I always get as many willow leaves here as possible. Every time you go into and come back out of one of the caves you can get new leaves so by the time I am done with quests around the lake, I have about leaves.

Helga's Ring Quest - when you enter Og's lair to kill him, you will notice that he has a green exclamation point over his head. This is for the Helga's Ring quest. I never complete this quest because Helga's Ring is an invaluable tool throughout the game and if you complete this quest and return the ring to Og, you cannot get it back, even if you kill him.

Return to Ug's Lair and complete the Kill Og quest. Kill Ug and take Helga's Ring plus any other loot you may receive. From Ug's Lair looking toward the lake, travel to the right to Kargath's Lair. Enter the Lair and kill Kargath. There are three chests in the Lair, one which is hidden behind a waterfall. To locate it, cross the first ridge after you have entered the Lair and come to the second bridge. There will be a waterfall on your left.

Dive into the water and swim underneath the waterfall. The chest is at the back of the little cavity. After you have killed Kargath, exit the Lair and return to Guard Rakthor to complete the quest. Using Helga's Ring - one of the best ways to use Helga's ring is to help you get out of different spaces. In Kargath's Lair, for example, you can jump from the bridge nearest to his location to the cave entrance without hurting yourself rather than having to go back through the entire cave.

Choosing Rewards - sometimes you will be given the choice of weapons or armor as part of the reward for a quest, like Chief Kargath. If you don't like the choices you are given and are only accepting something to complete the task, I've listed below a few tips to consider.

Armor - armor almost invariably gives you more gold than weapons, assuming that the weapons and armor are close to the same levels e. Potions - if you have the chance to take potions, I almost always take them.

Potions cost a lot of money to buy so any chance I have to obtain a decent potion, I take it. If the potion is being offered as part of a reward, it is more likely to be a better potion than ones you would receive ordinarily. Weapons - if you only have the option of accepting weapons, then here is the breakdown of which weapons are worth most to least: axes, swords, primary, then secondary mostly , hammers, bows, staffs.

This list isn't an absolute but is meant to be a general guide for reference. At this point, I become an outlaw. There are several low level people in Taryn Ridge you can fight and take loot from that will help you get more gold and level up. You can also fight people like Raquel and Guard Rakthor, who are level 20 and 29 respectively who will help you level up quickly. The hardest to kill is the tradesman in Harwen's Wares and I usually stay away from that house because it is so difficult to kill both Harwen and the tradesman.

After you have finished in Taryn Ridge, you can ride your grey stallion to Callaheim. You can enter the sewers directly from outside the Callaheim gate - there is a structure to the right of the gate. This is an entrance to the sewers there is another just like it on the North Kingdom side too. Go to Quentin and have yourself changed to Neutral.

Then you can use your safety ring to teleport to West Callaheim. There is a chest on the first floor to the right side. There is also a chest on the second floor but it doesn't have anything in it. I always try to sell loot to the appropriate merchant.

Take the loot from the chest on the first floor of his house. He will give you the See Out Gorak in the Palace exp. Darius will give you advice to join a guild or guilds. Go to East Callaheim and enter the Knights of Aralon. Speak with Eckar and accept the Corruption in Callaheim gold, exp. Complete the main tasks for the Corruption in Callaheim, including reading the note you take from Nevin. Return to the Knights of Aralon and complete the Corruption in Callaheim quest.

Eckar will give you the A Meeting Disrupted quest. Go to the Order of Magic. Take the I Will Join You receive the guild key quest from Zenero on the second floor of the headquarters. Go downstairs and accept the Missing Ingredients gold, exp. Exit the Order. Go to the Palace and upstairs to the second floor.

Accept The Plan this is a main quest challenge - you must accept it; exp. Go to the Guardians of Aralon and speak with Tristan Longshot on the second floor. Yiggdrin will give you the Bear Hunting gold, exp. Go over to the chest in the left hand corner and take whatever loot is in there. Leave the headquarters. Cross the river and speak to Harg Gutter near the end of the dock. He will give you the recipes for Fisherman's Broth and Greenfin Stew. At this point, I usually kill Gutter. He is a friendly target and his level is pretty close to your own so there is no downside to killing him.

You will also get a better fishing pole and some more gold. Afterward, you can fish for small fish and greenfin nibbler on the dock next to Gutter's house. At any time, you can come back and do this during the game to earn more gold or make more stew.

Go into the bank and put away stuff you don't need e. Guild keys, fishing poles, sapphires and amethysts, runes. If you have the necessary 3 sapphires and 3 amethysts, accept Finneus Goldring's quests Sparkling Sapphires and A Necklace of Amethyst. Otherwise, leave the bank. Go to the mansion in West Callaheim and complete the main tasks for the Meeting Disrupted quest. Leave the mansion grounds and go out the West Callaheim exit into the Northern Kingdom.

To your left, there is a building that leads to the Callaheim Sewers. In front of you, there is a path going into the woods and to your right there is a horse merchant and grass.

Fight the bears going toward the sewers there will probably be at least one superb pelt here. Go up the path into the woods until you reach a statue of a face on the ground to your left. Walk down the grassy knoll in front of the statue. There is a craft campfire here where you can make fisherman's broth or greenfin stew. Using either a Greenfin stew or Helga's ring, float down to the area around the horse merchant.

Fight through bears until you reach Cold Sands Hold. You can enter Cold Sands and take the loot from the Cold Sands Keep or just purchase armor here if you have the gold the armor and weapons here are superb quality - with a few exceptions, these are the best in the game. If you do neither of these, return to the West Callaheim gate and enter the Callaheim sewers.

When you enter, go to the middle of the sewers and turn right to go toward the Thieves' Den. If you are playing Rogue, take all the poison and toxin from Kila and Jasper. There are two chests in the Den. Exit the Den once you have retrieved the loot. Go to the other end of the Sewers where the Old Tunnels are located and enter.

Go down the main path and turn left into the first side jetty. At the end of the jetty, there is a corpse with loot. Return to the main path and stay on it until you reach the Ancient Crypt.

Across from the crypt, there is another corpse with loot. Enter the Ancient Crypt and speak with Queen Elenroh's ghost.

Leave the crypt and go down the first side path on your left it is your right if you are facing toward the crypt and is the second side path from the entrance. Fight the Ancient Vampire. Exit the Old Tunnels using the Safety Ring.

Exchange your loot for gold or weapons with West Callaheim businesses. In each of the guilds, you will pick up new quests from members. From the Knights Eckar , accept the Into the Mansion gold, exp. You can leave the guilds to complete these quests now.

If you have enough sapphires and amethysts at this time, you can accept Finneus Goldrings' challenges in the Bank. If not, you will probably receive enough gems to complete the quests after the guild quests. See Darius in his West Callaheim home - he will give you the next portion of The Plan - doing research exp.

While you are in the library, you will find the book, Great Potions, which will give you spells for quality health, energy and restoration potions. Return to West Callaheim and speak with Luther Argale so you can obtain the key to the mansion.

You must accept the A Deal Gone Sour quest or use a pickpocket skill to obtain the key. Go to Lord Telmon's house and speak with him.

You can also take the gold and loot in his chest. In order to receive the A Reversal of Fortune quest from him, you must still have the Sour request. Once you accept the Reversal quest, however, you can abandon the Sour quest. Return to Luther and kill him. The mansion key will be part of the loot you receive. Go back to Lord Telmon's house and complete the Reversal quest. At this point, I kill Lord Telmon.

He is a friendly target and he will have a good weapon and loot on him. Enter the Mansion and complete the tasks for the Into the Mansion quest. There are seven chests here with loot and gold for you to retrieve. Using the safety ring, return to West Callaheim and sell the loot you don't want. If you have enough Sapphires and Amethysts at this point, accept Finneus' quests in the East Callaheim bank.

Once you have left Callaheim, turn to your right and travel on the grass until you come upon the path outside of Cold Sands Hold. To the left of this path, you will see two dark gnomes.

Fight these gnomes and follow them up the hill to a dark gnome cave. There are three chests in the cave as well as several gnomes that can help you level up and complete the Dark Gnome Raiders quest. Once you have finished in the cave, return to the West Callaheim entrance. From the West Callaheim entrance, travel to the valley where the Lair of the Giant Spider Queen is located and fight giant spiders to collect silk for the Deadly Web quest. Before entering the Lair, pick some skyblooms from the plant on the rock tunnel side of the valley.

Enter the Spider Queen's Lair and defeat her. Climb to the other side of her web and obtain the loot from the corpse in the cave. Return to the other side for how to do this, see above and leave the Lair. Pick more skyblooms and leave the valley, going up the small hill opposite the way you entered. At the top of the hill leading out of the giant spider valley, you will see the Western Kingdom mountain pass and some tents around it. Enter the middle tent and obtain the strong health potion from Harl Windsin and then kill him.

Windsin is a level 30 and is not easy to kill but it is worth defeating him because it will give you a quick level up. Once you have finished in the middle tent, go into the other tents and kill the other tradesmen.

By the time you leave this little hill area, you will have leveled up at least twice, if not three times. When you come down from the little hill where the tents are located, turn left and go down a hill toward a ruined house on the right.

There will be one coven witch on each side of the path. Once you defeat the witches, go into the grass in front of the ruined house. There is a skybloom plant there.

Continue along the path in the direction you have been traveling toward Windspray Lake. Travel around the lake fighting gnomes until you pass the Dark Gnome Burrows.

At the top of the hill to the left of a house, there is another skybloom. Take plants off of it and return to the Burrows and enter. Once you enter the Burrows, fight the Dark Gnomes and retrieve loot from six chests.

Leave the Burrows and go to the skybloom plant again. Pick some blooms. Go around the lake back toward the coven witches you fought earlier. Pick more skyblooms. Fight the coven witches until you come to the Cave of the Sisters of the Night. Note that you haven't received this quest yet, but you can complete the tasks for it before receiving the quest to avoid an extra trip into the Northern Kingdom just to complete this challenge.

You will receive the wolf mount from Anaya. Return to Callaheim using the safety ring. Complete the Glittering Sapphires and Necklace of Amethyst quests. You must do this before completing the Into the Mansion quest or Finneus will always be an enemy to you and you won't be able to finish these challenges.

You will receive the Speak with Warrek exp. Accept the Orc Wars challenge from Captain Fargus. If you have not already done so, retrieve the gold and loot from the three chests in the Cold Sands Keep.

Once you leave the Keep, speak with Ranah, the potionmaker. Collect as many empty vials from her as you will need to make quality potions. You can also purchase a superb health potion from her if you intend to accept Sunclaw's quest for a Soothing Balm.

If you need any other supplies, this is the time to purchase them or if you want to sell property, you can do that too. Leave the Hold and enter the first outland.

You will enter into a valley. In front of you, at the other end of the valley, is Sunclaw's Lair for reference. Turn to your right and travel straight until you reach the beach. Fight smugglers until you reach Smuggler's Cove.

As you stand in front of the Cove, look to the left and the hill next to the Cove. Between the rocks is a small opening leading to a small area with four smugglers and a chest. Once you have defeated the Smugglers return to the Cove and kill Vanael the Slicer. There are two chests in the Cove not including the loot from Vanael and the other smugglers.

The best way to deal with this is to wear Helga's ring or use Greenfin Stew. Leave the Cove and move north up the beach. When you encounter the drake carcass, take the broken tooth.

Once you are near Karn, pull some Yuma seeds for plant locations see crafting section above. Visit Katami and she will tell you about the drake carcass.

Visit Vierne and she will tell you to seek out Sunclaw. Sell any goods you want at Hawth's Wares and travel back to Sunclaw's Lair. During this trip, pick yuma seeds. Once you reach Karn, simply swim out from the beach and you will find the island after swimming for a fairly lengthy time.

I choose to take the quest because I get to learn the balm recipe and earn more points toward leveling up. When you speak with Sunclaw, you will discuss her broken tooth. Leave her Lair and return to Karn.

During this trip, pick as many yuma seeds as you can. See Vierne in Karn and she will give you the soothing balm recipe. Make the balm and any potions you might want. If you need more yuma seeds, go back into the desert to pick them. Once you have finished crafting your potions and balm, return to Sunclaw's lair. I usually ride a mount to make the trip quicker.

Once on the island, take a drake egg from the nest and take the emerald in the chest. The emerald is the key to the Temple of Azra going through the Temple is part of the main quest so you must retrieve the emerald and the egg gives you a drake mount, which is a great ride. Once you have retrieved the mount and emerald key, return to the spot where Sunclaw dropped you off and ride her back to the entrance to the Temple of Azra.

Enter the Temple of Azra and work your way through it for a detailed description of how to get through, see above - quests , ending by killing the Ancient Lich and taking the Scepter of Hammara.

Return to Callaheim by using the safety ring. Go to the merchants and exchange your loot for things you want. He will tell you to use the Scepter on Merificus this is part of the main quest - you must complete it to finish the game; 10, exp. Return to Darius' house and accept the Rescue Gorak 40, exp.

Travel by sea or on foot to Redrock Bay in the Western Kingdom. Complete the Speak with Warrek quest by speaking with him duh! He will give you the Minotaur King gold, 50, exp. Leave his house and speak with Koln who will give you the A Brash Brother 50, exp. From here, enter the Quality Armor and Shields shop and take the gold and loot from the chest to the right of the counter. After you have retrieved this loot, leave the store and swim out to the boulders sticking out of the sea behind the dock.

Swim to the bottom of the sea floor behind the boulders and take the loot from the sunken treasure there. Return to shore. Travel to the Minotaur Warrens and defeat the Minotaur King. While on the path to the Warrens, pick some fero pods to the left and right side of the path the pods are not right next to the road - you must look in the grass for them.

Go to the Giants' Den and collect loot there are three chests in the Den and they replenish with different loot every time you leave the Den and re-enter.

Return to Redrock Bay and complete the Minotaur King quest. After trading your loot for whatever gear you want, ride a mount I ride the drake to the entrance of Valemar Keep.

Take the Icefang's Oath 25, exp. Darius will give you the Journey to Shadowspire 50, exp. Leave Callaheim and go to Cold Sands Hold.

Kill as many orcs as possible, including Uthu. Note - you will not have the Uthu's Fortress quest yet, but you can still complete the tasks from the quest so you only have to make one trip into the desert.

Ride a mount through the first outland I ride either the drake or wolf to the mountain pass. Exit the pass into the second outland. Go to Icefang's Lair and complete the Icefang's Oath quest. Accept the A Stolen Egg 50, exp. Leave the lair and go back to the top of the valley. From there, travel toward the arch in front of you, fighting terror birds.

Just before the first arch, turn left and travel straight until you reach the terror bird nest. Take an egg from the nest to obtain a terror bird mount. Travel to the Ice Elemental Queen's Lair and defeat her. There are four chests in her lair not including all the gems you will receive from her and all of the Ice Elementals.

Leave the Lair and travel to Unther's cave. Fight Unther and obtain a cloak of meditation. Leave the snow part of the second outland and work your way to the Cavern of the Fire Elemental King.

There is only one chest in this cave but it is worth going out of your way for it. It, along with the chests in the swamplands, has the best loot in the game. Better armor and weapons even than those you can find in Cold Sands Hold. Leave the cavern and work your way to the Shadowspire Mines.

Enter the Mines and work your way to Ashmore, the dragon that stole Icefang's egg. Defeat Ashmore and take back Icefang's egg. Note - do not try to defeat Sheba before defeating Ashmore because the only way out of Sheba's Lair is to teleport somewhere.

Thus, if you go to Sheba's Lair before you retrieve Icefang's egg, you will, at a minimum, have to travel from Icefang's Lair back to the Shadowspire Mines to obtain it. Once you have defeated Ashmore, return back through the Dark Chasm to the ledge across from the entrance. Facing the entrance, go to the furthest point to the left and, using either Helga's ring or a Greenfin Stew, levitate over that point.

Watch carefully as you float down until you reach Sheba's Lair and enter. Fight Sheba and defeat her. You will probably obtain a fire cloak. Once you are finished, teleport back to Callaheim. Go to the swamplands and obtain the crested axe for the Brash Brother quest see above for detailed description of how to find the axe. Also, gather the red fern plants and loot from the two chests in the swamplands; it is some of the best in the game e.

Teleport back to Callaheim and travel by mount or by sea to the Western Kingdom. Speak with Koln and complete the Brash Brother quest. Return to the second outland by land or by teleporting there. Give Icefang her egg. Note - you do not have to complete this quest to enter Shadowspire - if you stand at the entrance of the Shadowspire Mines, using Helga's ring or a Greenfin stew you can levitate over to the entrance to Shadowspire.

It is much easier, however, simply to take the ride from Icefang. In addition, he appears to share the name Telamon with a warrior-hero of Greek myth, the father of Ajax, as well as Atlas. Atlas was at times during his punishment known as Atlas Telamon, "enduring Atlas," which is fitting for Lews Therin, who was reborn as Rand, and even then was in Rand's mind for a while.

Finally, the epithet 'Kinslayer' is an allusion to Hercules, who was driven mad by the goddess Hera. During his insanity he slew his wife and all of his children. A Wheel of Time Wiki Explore.
